Cosmetic CPNP Registration
The GPC designates an European Director for cosmetic producs and review the manufacturer's Producer Information File (PIF) to support CPNP registration.
All cosmetic products distributed or to be distributed in the EU market must be registered in the Cosmetic Products Notification Portal (CPNP) in accordance with Regulation (EC) N° 1223/2009 (Article 13).
This following are the requirements for registration in every process
- Appointment of an European Representative
- Review and management of cosmetic ingredients
- Submit Product Information File (PIF)
- Submit Packing label
The Product Information File (PIF) requires following information
- Detailed description of cosmetics : Product's official name, product code, and shape, etc
- Review and management of cosmetic ingredients
- Submit Product Information File ( PIF)
- Submit Packaging Label
The packaging label should include followings :
- Nam, address, and information of cosmetic director
- Country of Origin
- Expiration dates of before and after opening
- Precautions of before and after Use
- Batch Number
- Performance of Product
- Ingredient List
GPC must register product information through CPNP if all requirements such as Product Information File (PIF) and Labeling.
The following informations are registered in CPNP :
- Name and Category of Product
- Name and address of Personnel who is responsible for product
- Information of Origin
- Cosmetic's first exporting country in Europe
- Information on CMR materials
- Population of Cosmetic
- Label picture of outer packaging
